We support the protection of the privacy of our users. Personal data is only used in accordance with the following declaration on data protection and data security (Privacy Policy).

2 Information on the collection of personal data, storage period

In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are legal retention obligations.

If we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In doing so, we will also state the defined criteria for the storage period.

 

Data storage

In connection with your access to our website, data is temporarily stored in our server for data security purposes, which may allow identification (in particular the IP address, the date, the time, the pages accessed and actions performed, the website previously accessed, the browser used and the operating system). An evaluation, except for statistical purposes in anonymised form, does not take place.

 

Active contents

To improve the appearance of our offer, active content is used in various places. Active content refers to programmes that can be executed on the user's computer. We assure that we have carefully checked these active contents before integrating them into the offer. We are not aware that any malicious functions can occur through the active content.

3.2 You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. The data protection supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LfDI), Fritz-Dobisch-Str. 12, 66111 Saarbrücken.

3.3 If personal data is transferred to a third country or to an international organization, you have the right to be informed about the appropriate safeguards in accordance with Art. 46 EU-DSGVO in connection with the transfer.

 

The secrecy of telecommunications also protects your mail content and form entries from unauthorized access and processing. However, we must point out that data transmission via the Internet is unsecured. It cannot be ruled out that transmitted data may be read by unauthorised persons and possibly even falsified or deleted. If you wish to avoid the risk associated with the transmission, you can also send us your suggestions, wishes and proposals by letter post to the editorial office indicated in the imprint.

4.2 In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive in relation to the browser you are using and which provide the party setting the cookie (in this case, us) with certain information. Cookies cannot execute programmes or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the website as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

 

If you send us an e-mail, you must always be aware that the contents of the e-mail and its attachments may be read, falsified or deleted by unauthorised persons. To avoid this risk, you may alternatively send a letter to the school.

 

Forums and chats

If you call up pages on this site and are asked to enter data about yourself, you are free to do so. If entries are required, please choose an invented nickname. When making entries in a guest book, in forums or chats, you must reckon with the fact that your name and your e-mail address with keywords of your contribution will be recorded in search engines and will be accessible worldwide even without specifically calling up our offer. Therefore, please use personal data as sparingly as possible!

 

The publication of personal data can lead to their being stored worldwide in search engines or web archives. It is often not possible to enforce the deletion or correction of such entries with foreign operators. We ask for your understanding that we reserve the right to abridge or not to publish texts that violate data protection, especially if they are in connection with defamatory, sexist, racist or extremist statements.

 

Rights of users

You have the right to request information free of charge about the personal data stored about you ( § 20 SDSG , § 4 para. 7 TDDSG , § 20 MDStV ). In addition, you have a right to correction, blocking and deletion of your personal data in accordance with the legal provisions.
